We're pleased to announce that we're launching a new edition of Ammo Magazine at Glug's first ever Birmingham based event!
Glug is well known in the design/art community for staging events across the country that feature talks from leading designers and skilled creatives. Lisa Hassell (Inkygoodness) and Kerry Leslie (FAKE magazine/Created in Birmingham) are teaming up to bring Glug to Birmingham for the first time. Grab yourself a ticket »
When & Where?
The event is taking place on Thursday the 21st of August at Fazeley Studios – a collection of buildings with a converted chapel as it’s reception. Based in the Digbeth area of Birmingham the building is home to a wide range of creative companies.
We’ve been invited to take over one of the stalls at Glug’s pop-up Art Market and will be launching Volume 1 in a brand new series of magazines focusing on interviews with illustrators, artists, crafters and makers. The magazine will also be available online from Friday the 22nd of August.
Who’s taking part?
There’s a great line-up of talks planned and we’ll be sharing the Art Market space with some amazing artists and collectives. Talking on the night are Alex Fowkes, Studio Output, WASTE Studio, PROVIDE, Well Made Studio, Hero of Switzerland & FRUKT. Brothers of the Stripe will be creating live artwork, and there’s also a BBQ!
That’s just a selection of the artists and collectives taking part! For full details visit Glug’s website »
