Yelena Bryksenkova was born in Russia, raised in the US, and educated at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, receiving her BFA in illustration in 2010. She lives in New England, working as a fine artist and freelance illustrator.
My small pen and watercolor paintings are inspired by my love of home and the comfort of everyday objects, as well as more magical, mysterious and melancholy themes.
