Elly MacKay
I grew up in an old church by Georgian Bay in Ontario, Canada. I now live nearby in Owen Sound with my husband and daughter. I play with cut paper, using ink, yupo and mylar papers to create layers. I then set them up in a wooden theater and photograph them. I am inspired by my daughter, Victorian toys, and set design. I am a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and a member of the Canadian Society of Children's Authors, Illustrators and Performers.
